Our Journey to Pascha
"The Lenten spring has come – the light of repentance! O brothers, let us cleanse ourselves from all evil, crying out to the Giver of Light: Glory to Thee, O Lover of man."
Plan to attend any of the following recurring services offered throughout Lent:
Mondays - Great Compline at 6pm
Wednesdays - 9th Hour and Presanctified Liturgy at 5pm, followed by a brief class on prayer and a Lenten potluck
Fridays- 9th Hour and Presanctified Liturgy at 9:30am;
Salutations to the Theotokos at 5pm
Saturdays - Vespers at 5pm

Majority of confession slots will be offered during the first half of Lent. There are many times available for you to receive this life-giving sacrament.

Introduction to Orthodox Christianity
David Dinsmore will be hosting a Introduction to Orthodox Christianity class each Sunday following the Liturgy. The topics are:
2/23 - God as Mystery
3/2 - No Class (Forgiveness Sunday)
3/9 - The Holy Trinity
3/16 - Jesus Christ
3/23 - Salvation
3/30 - Sacraments

Families & Children
Families and children are encouraged to engage in Lenten services and activities, too!

Consider attending at least one additional service per week during Lent.

Schedule a time for the entire family to go to confession.

Mark your calendars and have your children participate in the activities and preparations on Lazarus Saturday and Holy Friday.

Attend Bible Study
Bible Study will be offered on Friday mornings following the Presanctified Liturgy. We will continue our study on St. Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians. If you are unable to attend but would like to keep up with the study, you can listen to his podcast “Alive in Christ”.

Pan-Orthodox Vespers
Join our greater Orthodox communities on Sunday evenings for prayer and fellowship. The schedule is:
(all services begin at 5pm)
March 9: Sunday of Orthodoxy at the Assumption Cathedral in Denver
March 16: St. Gregory Palamas at the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral in Denver
March 23: Sunday of the Cross at St. Elias in Arvada
March 30: St. John of the Ladder at St. Luke in Erie
