Founded in 1960, SCOBA (The Standing Conference of the Canonical Orthodox Bishops in the Americas) brings together the canonical hierarchs of Orthodox jurisdictions in the Americas. The purpose of the Standing Conference is to create and foster ties of unity amongst the canonical Orthodox Churches and administrations for a stronger and more visible witness to the Orthodox Faith. SCOBA currently consists of representatives from the following Orthodox jurisdictions: Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America Serbian Orthodox Church in the USA and Canada Carpatho Russian Orthodox Diocese in the USA Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Church Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese in America & Canada Albanian Orthodox Diocese of America Representation of the Moscow Patriarchate Orthodox Church in America |
