HOW CAN I HELP? We need as many people as possible from the parish to help out at this years event. If you’ve never done this before, then don’t worry, it’s easy! Whether you’re able to help set up tents and tables before the event starts, sell tickets for a couple of hours, hand out programs, prepare food, make Saganaki or Loukomades, sell T-Shirts, etc., your help will be greatly appreciated! If you want to help during the event, then please sign up beforehand! If you just turn up on the day there may be nothing for you to do, or you may not be able to do what you want to do! Following complaints in previous years, please don’t ‘roam’ wherever you want! There is only a limited amount of space in each booth & priority will be given to those who sign up! The sign-up sheets are available in the Fellowship Hall on Saturdays following Vespers or on Sundays following Liturgy. They may also be found online here: ADULTS SIGN UP SHEET KIDS (6-9) KIDS (10-16) (Please email your preferred choices to Ian Mitchell at parishcouncil@stspeterandpaulboulder.org if you’re unable to make it to Church.) Also, if you want to help, then please wear a Sts. Peter & Paul T-Shirt. If you don’t have one, then you can order one from Keity Elias using the order form below or email her at parishcouncil@stspeterandpaulboulder.org. T-SHIRTS If you’re able to help set up tents, etc., we’ll be starting this the week before Labor Day in the evenings. Please check your email or see the weekly bulletins for more details. Also, this year, we’re asking our younger member to help out at ToO. More information may be found in the Religious Education News later in the September Petra News. If you’re unable to help out during the event itself, then you could always contribute to our Need’s List of items for the festival, to help defray some of our costs. If you are interested in doing this, then please see either Nick Kallan or Pete Stamus. Finally, we’re also asking every family to donate one (or more!) 12-packs of Coca Cola products (Coke, Diet Coke, Caffeine-free Diet Coke or Sprite) to sell at the festival. To avoid ending up with 100 cases of Coke(!), please let us know what you are able to donate, or sign up in the fellowship hall to see what we still need! See you there! Our annual Taste of Orthodoxy festival takes place the weekend AFTER Labor Day every year. Come and join us for a variety of Mediteranean, Eastern European and Arabic foods, Church tours, ethnic dance and music groups, etc. Check out our website at www.tasteoforthodoxy.org, follow along on Facebook and click on the image above for a printable flyer.
